First step: The tooling ( A steel rule die )
This is a combination of wood, steel rule, and punches.
We make this from your provided information.
Almost any type of design that can be:
traced or copied in some way can be used.
Once you buy your rule die. We get it made
and go on to the next production step:


Your rule die can be used to cut several types of materials or
combinations of materials, even materials that have glue backing or
foil laminations. Your provided materials or TJ Stocks are
sheeted or trimmed to size for the press and we are ready to go to press.

Die cutting: The way we do it:

We remove a previously run job from the press and set up your job:
Set up of your job: Includes:A good cutting surface.Lock up the die
in a press chase. Lock the chase in the cutting press bed. Cutting  pressures
are adjusted and guides are added. The Proof cut is made to insure all is correct.

Die cut parts:
Once the press is set up and the materials are cut to
size for the job it is time to turn over the press and get to
work. Several hundred parts blanks are fed into the press
and the result is uniformily cut parts. Every few minutes
finished parts are removed from the scrap and bagged or
packaged by press count.
TJ Die charges and houly rate for labor done in the shop.
